Adaptations: Helping Clients Keep Customers in their Homes
With pressure on local government resources, keeping or getting customers back into their homes safely for adaptations works can save valuable money, whilst providing a better quality of life for customers. Having completed over 3,500 adaptations in 14 years we have delivered all of our works to time, cost and quality standards, achieving 95% plus satisfaction rates.
Customer Care and the Adaptations Process
We consult with customers and carry out a customer needs survey so we design the entire works process around the customer so what we do meets their needs. We review works required, using our specialist technical knowledge and supply chain partners to suggest tried and tested innovations to improve the customer’s quality of life. All works are programmed and communicated robustly to all stakeholders, including the customer, carers, family, occupational therapists and clients. We provide a dedicated Customer Liaison Officer to ensure the customer is supported at all times. 100% of all works are post-inspected and quality assured for up to 24 months to provide extra value to our clients and customers.
A Partnership Approach to Adaptations
We partner with our end clients, supporting the works specification process with Occupational Therapists and Housing Management teams to achieve the optimum specification for the customer. We are skilled and knowledgeable about disability grant funding and understand how to support clients with this process. We always ensure there is a balance between quality and cost so that the customer has the best and right adaptation, but that costs are controlled and managed.
A 24 Hour Emergency Service for Adaptations
We offer a 24 hour emergency service for customers who need quick installation works like handrails installed in their home. This same day service enables us to help customers who only need minor, low cost adaptations to get back into or stay in their homes sooner. We deliver the service for Cumbria County Council and Your Housing Group who have found the service has helped over 100 customers stay in their homes who would not have been able to without our combined support and solutions.
