PPM nominated and named as finalists for 'Contractor Of the Year' at National Healthy Housing Awards 2022

We were absolutely over the moon to learn that PPM have been nominated and named as finalists for ‘Contractor of the Year’ at the National Healthy Housing Awards 2022!!!!

The award recognises contractors who have shown excellent customer service and great workmanship in adapting the homes of disabled people. Contractors are a key partner in delivering successful adaptation schemes, often spending more time in the home than all the other professionals combined.

This is incredible news and testament to our equally incredible team here at PPM. 

We were put forward for the award by our client Carlisle City Council who we work in close partnership with to deliver their disabled adaptations works.  We have been working with Carlisle City Council for over 8 years, as well as many other local and district councils in Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire. 

The awards are organised by Foundations, the national body for Disabled Facilities Grants and Home Improvement Agencies in England, and sponsored by PROCare (Bathroom and Wetroom Specialists).  Foundations understand that outstanding work is carried out every day to support people across the country to live comfortably in their own homes, and the National Healthy Housing Awards offer the chance to celebrate the individuals and businesses who strive for excellence and the services that truly make organisations involved special.

From recognising innovative projects to commending exceptional staff, this year’s Awards will showcase the range of people involved in changing the lives of elderly, vulnerable and disabled people every day. 

Winners will be announced on Tuesday 6th December at the National Healthy Housing Awards Ceremony held in Manchester.
