PPM 'Wear It Pink' for Breast Cancer Now

On Friday 21st October, our fantastic PPM team wore their snazzy pink hi-vis jackets with pride for 'Wear It Pink' Day. The annual event aims to raise awareness of breast cancer and also monies for the charity, Breast Cancer Now. The money raised helps to fund world breast cancer research and provide life-changing support.

Breast Cancer Now’s 'Wear It Pink' day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. It takes place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, with thousands of amazing people wearing pink in their communities, schools or work places. Our PPM teams throughout Cumbria and Yorkshire were really keen to support the event and we think they absolutely rocked the pink. Like in previous years, we’ve had loads of lovely compliments from people who spotted our operatives in the community and on social media, we are considering changing to pink forever!

To further support this fantastic cause we also held a 'Wear It Pink Cake Sale' in our PPM Head Office which was wonderfully supported by our brilliant business neighbours. It was a lovely surprise to see some of them get into their pink outfits for the day too!

In total we raised £203.00 and we thank everyone for their support.
