PPM Bake Off for Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning

On Friday 28th September and Friday 5th October staff from our PPM offices held coffee mornings in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Funds that are raised help everyone living with cancer to live life as fully as they can.

Staff from our Head Office in Carlisle and our Penrith Depot baked their favourite cakes for the coffee morning. Coffee mornings are held throughout the UK to support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning which is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Last year alone a whopping £27 million was raised and they hope to raise even more this year.

It was a brilliant day in the offices with neighbouring businesses and local suppliers popping in to get their hands on the brilliant selection of tasty cakes and we even had a savoury selection this year with homemade sausage rolls and quiches!

We raised an amazing £224.00 altogether, which was a fantastic total. Thanks so much to everyone who took part in baking the delicious goodies and for those who came along to show their support and donate to a very worthy cause.
